The Belleville 770 is a duty boot for law enforcement and military operating in colder weather climates that require insulation in addition to waterproofing. The 770 keeps it light while still adding 200g of Thinsulate insulation and a Gore Tex waterproof bootie to keep moisture out. This boot is perfect for cold, wet weather. A Vibram FIRE & ICE outsole was designed for wet and icy surfaces and won't stiffen up in colder temperatures. Belleville's proprietary VANGUARD running shoe construction provides comfort and shock attenuation during physical activity. The 770 is a comfortable boot that will get you through your duty shift comfortably so you can perform at your best. This boot is made in the USA and is Berry compliant.

The Best Boots I've Ever Owned

Overall excellent boots. It's true what they say about running shoe feel. These are as comfortable as my asics running shoes. The Gore Tex has never let me down. Rain or standing water, I've never had wet feet while wearing these boots. I'm on my third pair now. I only replaced them because the tread eventually wears down and the toes will scuff after years of use.

Good but insole needs improving

I've been wearing Belleville boots for over 10 years now. Obviously, they make great quality footwear but one complaint on this pair of 770s. They switched the factory insole from a perforated foam material to a soft rubber one that has no support or form. Why take a top class boot like this and use a cheap insole??? Other than that, it's the same great quality boot I'm used to.

Well made and made in the USA. Boots made in China can't compare. You get what you pay for. Sizing was a little big though.

Solid Work Boot

I'm on my third pair of Belleville boots. I just love the way the Belleville boots fit. If you spend a good part of your day on your feet, you'll thank yourself you spent to extra money on a pair of these 770 Bellevilles. Great comfort and no pain or aches in the heel after several hours, unlike the military issued Altamas I used to wear before I switched to Bellevilles.
