Product Description


The Belleville 690 was the first USAF boot approved for flight use. This boot features an upper made of 100% cowhide suede and ballistic nylon for ruggedness. A Gore-Tex bootie is integrated into the boot lining to provide moisture wicking from the inside and a waterproof barrier from the outside. Intended for cold weather, this boot features one of the most comfortable outsoles on the market today with Bellville's patented VANGUARD running sole. This ground breaking technology has enabled military boots to have the comfort and fit of athletic shoes while still meeting the strict specifications for military boots. The 690 is U.S. Air Force flight approved and approved for wear with the Airman Battle Uniform (ABU). This boot is Berry Compliant and proudly made in the USA.

Almost the Perfect Boot

I've had these boots for 6 months and they're in just as good a shape as when I bought them. They'll probably last me for the rest of my Air Force career. There are definitely more expensive, lightweight boots on the market (such as Danners, Bates, etc). I tried several but went with the Belleville 690 based on recommendations from friends. If you're looking for a tough boot that can handle cold and wet environments such as Alaska, this is the boot for you. My only complaint is they did run a little large and the insole flimsy but I upgraded it anyways
