I had to try these for the price since Danners were running upwards of $200. So far, I'm satisfied with these. The zipper makes it easy to put these on in the morning. Decent boots for a fair price.
I bought these boots on the advice of a friend who swears by Bellevilles for work. I tried them and I have to say I was doubtful at first but they are pretty comfortable. The soles they makes these days are much softer and absorbent than the "bricks" they use to issue us in the army.
Not comfortable at all. Gave me blisters after 2 hours.
Love the zipper. Way better than the USAF issue Bates they gave me in basic.
I've owned these for a year and I think theyre a good value for the money. Sure, these bellevilles arent going to measure up to a Rocky S2V in terms of performance or lightness but theyre a decent boot for the money. They've lasted a year and I paid around $120 for them last year and I expect to get at least 6 more months out of them.
Excellent boots. I've had these boots going on 3 years and no problems so far. The upper is highly breathable and the sole is still stiff enough to give you good arch support when you're walking. Overall a 5/5.
I had these for nine months before the zipper on the left boot came apart. Mike at bellevillebootoutlet.com was pretty helpful and got them replaced for free under the factory warranty. When these wear out, I'm gonna get the Converse boots instead.
