The 590 boots are built on the Vanguard injection molding platform that was developed to deliver combat footwear for the United States Marine Corps. The direct injected soles provide super shock absorption and flexibility and also make the 590 a very light weight boot as compared to the standard issue boots. Made from full grain cowhide and nylon fabric, these boots are highly comfortable and breathable. One of the unique features of a 590 is its re-solable rubber outsole having multidirectional lugs and aggressive tread patterns. This allows it to perform in adverse conditions and on roughest terrain. The 590 boots are United States Marine Corps approved.
